Volcanoes
As you can see we are talking about volcanoes. Did you know that...earthquakes can cause volcanoes to erupt. When a volcano erupts the magma spews out like a water fountain and it makes the volcano bigger. The magma gets hot and rises to the surface and escapes through the volcano. Once in Asia somewhere a volcano erupted and sent ash into the air and made every thing smoky and dark killing lots of plants. When a volcano erupts it can make new land. Some lava can reach speeds of 200 km/ph! In New Zealand Ruapehu is the tallest volcano. White Island has the biggest crater of all active volcanoes in New Zealand. The oldest volcano was found in Greenland it’s 4 billion years old! We hope you have learnt lots of information.
